A short Trek with good mountain views and less uphill walking then most treks. Wilderness trek with magnificent Annapurna mountain views.
This spectacular easy trek is known as the A Royal Trek because it is a favorite trekking route Nepalese Royal Family; therefore we can say that it is fit for royalty. It makes its way east among the tranquil foothills of the Himalayan range, through beautiful wooded areas, offering outstanding mountain scenery. It also enjoys the great-outdoors, because we will be able to camp every night. Altitudes of no more than 2100m will be reached, and anybody with a reasonable level of fitness will be able to comfortably complete this trek.
The journey begins in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, where it makes its way around the foothills through some magnificent forested areas covered with colorful rhododendron and orchid flowers, and inhabited by the cheeks Langure monkeys. We will be able to enjoy stunning views of the eloquently built hillside rice terraces, and at all stages of the trek be able to marvel at the dramatic mountain scenery, most notably the vast expanse of the Annapurna mountain range (over 8000m) and Mt. Machhapuchhare (6900m), which is in the shape of a fish's tail. We will pass through a number of local villages, allowing us the chance to capture the unique lifestyles of the Gurung and Braman tribes whose ancient religious practices and traditions have remained unchanged for thousands of years. On the final day of this trek, we will arise early in the morning allowing us to take in the majestic beauty of the sunrise over the vast Begnas Lake. The same day we will trek back to Pokhara, enjoying our last magical views of the Himalayas.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and then transfer to the Hotel. You will have a nice clean room with attached bathroom and 24 hrs running hot water.
Day 02:Kathmandu Sightseeing The following morning of arrival you will be taken on Sightseeing tour of the many holy temples and interesting surrounding sights of Kathmandu to show its back ground and history.
Day03: Drive to Pokhara and over night at hotel.
Day04: Trek to Kalikastan
Day05: Trek to Shaklung.
Day 06: Trek to Chisopani.
Day 07: Trek back to Pokhara
Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu.Night in same hotel.
Day 09: Transfer to the airport for Departure.
