Mt. Kumbha Karna Jannu 7710m
Location: Border of Nepal and India
One of the highest mountains in world lies on the border of Nepal and India. This region is home to the Limbu people. This trek offers one the opportunity to view Tea and cardamom farming in the lowest altitude. It includes middle mountains and the Yalung glacer of the Mt. Kumbhakarna (Jannu 7710m), might main Mt. Kanchenjanga (8586m), Mt. Kanchenjanga (8476m), Mt. Kanchenjanga south(8476m), Mt. Kiratchuli (Tent peak 7365m), Mt. Nepal peak(6910m) Pathivara Chuli(7125m) and Many other Mountain peaks.
One can not only see panoramic views of Kanchenjanga range but also offers high alpine vegetation and varity of Rhododendron, fir, home lock and oak treeks. This region is also rich in wildlife such as the snow Leopard, clouded Leopard, blue sheep, wild goat, Marmot and Weasel. In this region, you can do both activities trekking and Mountaineering.
TREKKING ITINERARY
Day 01 - Welcome to Kathmandu 1350m: Arrive in Kathmandu airport. You'll be met at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 - Kathmandu 1350m: The day to explore the sights of Kathmandu and the valley with a tour guide. You will be visiting temples, stupas, secret site, architecture and cultural things and prepared permit & trekking.
Day 03: Flight: KTM - Suketar, - Tambawa camp
Day 04: Tambawa - Khesewa, camp
Day 05: Khesewa - Mamankhe, camp
Day 06: Mamakhe – Yamphudin 1670m, camp
Day 07: Yamphudin – Chittre (Omje Khola) camp
Day 08: Chittre – Torontan camp
Day 09: Torontan – Tseram camp
Day 10: Tseram – Ramze camp
Day 11: Ramze – Kumbhakarna Base camp
Day 12: Advanced base camp Day 13 –30: Climbing period Kumbhakarna 7710m. Day 31: Kumbhakarna BC - Yellung
Day 32: Yallung - Lamite Bhanjhyang, camp
Day 33: Lamite Bhanjyang - Yamphudin, camp
Day 34: Yamphuding – Phonpe Dhara, camp
Day 35: Phonpe Dhara - Khunjar, camp
Day 36: Khunjar - Suketar
Day 37: Suketar – Biratnagar – KTM flight & Transfer hotel.
Day 38 - Kathmandu: A free day for washing, shopping and a last look around Kathmandu.
Day 39 - Farewel: We take you to the airport for your flight home. If you wish to stay longer we can offer plenty of suggestions as to what to do.
